Welcome to a studio for Change, Creativity and Connection

https://@anko_

I am Inma, a chartered psychologist, scientist, artist, and shamanic practitioner.

In academic and scientific circles I am known as Dr. Inma Adarves-Yorno.
In my community work (e.g., Kenyan prisons) I am often called Dr. Inma.
And in artistic and shamanic spaces, I use my third surname Inma Luna.

The experiences in this studio are shaped by the meeting of these worlds — science, creativity, reflection and intuition.

In this studio we explore what it means to grow and be alive — within ourselves, through creativity, and together with others.

There are different ways to explore this space, depending on what is alive in you at the moment.

Some people come to deepen their inner leadership, learning to listen to their mind, emotions, body and deeper intuition.
Others come through creative expression, discovering art as a way to explore and make meaning of their experience.
And many come through community, where reflection, conversation and shared practices create spaces of connection and growth.

Inner Leadership

This space is dedicated to the relationship we have with ourselves.

Through psychology, neuroscience, reflective practices and inner journeys, we explore how to lead our inner world — our thoughts, emotions, habits and deeper values.

Inner leadership is the foundation for living with clarity, resilience and intention.

Creative Expression

Creativity is one of the ways life moves through us.

In this part of the studio, art becomes a doorway to reflection, exploration and transformation.

Creativity here is not about performance — it is about experiencing Life differently and listening and expressing what is alive within.

Community

Some explorations are richer when they are shared.

Through the Rise Together podcast, circles and community calls, this part of the studio brings people into spaces of conversation, reflection and collective practice.

Community reminds us that growth is not only an individual journey — it is also something we cultivate together.

A Living Art Practice

Painting with Rhythm and Fire

I grew up surrounded by flamenco and its rhythm and passion flow in my veins.

I have been painting for over three decades. For many years, this work lived privately, created for my own view. In 2016, after joining an art studio in Exeter (UK), my practice opened into deeper exploration, play and experimentation.

Since 2020, my creative journey has been shaped through the Art2Life community and the Creative Visionary programme, where I continue to explore painting as a living, evolving discovery.

My painting process is daring, curious, and full of adventure.
I work with saturated colour and thick layers of paint, allowing stories to build across the canvas and creating a feast for the fingers. My work is bold, unapologetic, and alive, mirroring how I desire to move through life myself.

Exhibitions & Representation

My work has been exhibited internationally, including in Paris, Madrid, Milan, Barcelona, Fuerteventura, Innsbruck, Verona, Miami, Los Angeles, the Hamptons, and New York.

I have been represented by galleries in Madrid, New York, and Japan.

Capturing the alchemy of presence

My love for photography began over 30 years ago, in the magic of the darkroom — where images slowly appeared, and sometimes dissolved back into darkness. That quiet alchemy stayed with me. Today, I try to capture that same magic in moments of instant presence — when something moves me deeply enough that my body reacts before my mind does.

Holding Space for Mystery

Many decades ago, I was a prolific poet, exploring the inner terrains of my inner landscape, and being enchanted by the red sunset and the white moon.

In recent years, my poems have transformed into wise companions that emerge from the mystery that surround us.

If something within your body, gave you a signal, you may be drawn to:

  • acquiring a painting or a photography

  • living with a visual creation for a time

  • commissioning something slowly, by invitation

If a piece speaks to you, or you want to know about other creations:

The Studio is not separate from life.
It is a way of relating to it.

You are welcome to look, to feel,
to let something stir and carry you with aliveness back into your own living.
